3. Purpose: Replace a 2005 Chevrolet CCTV truck & equipment that has exceeded its useful life.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Contract is good through 4/6/2026.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Replace outdated equipment with new technology to improve operations.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): One-time expenditure of $204,926.89.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown and approve participating in the City of Tallahassee Contract #3708 to purchase a new Envirosight Pipeline CCTV Vehicle.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the City of Tallahassee Contract #3708.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in the City of Tallahassee Contract #3708 and provide staff with direction.
Background: The Utility Systems Department Wastewater Collections system consists of approximately 1,200 miles of pipe of which 262 miles are gravity mains. The new CCTV Truck will be used as part of the Inflow & Infiltration Division preventative maintenance program. The Inflow & Infiltration Division utilizes the CCTV truck and Vac truck to inspect, clean and repair the gravity system. There are also 6,403 manholes that are part of the gravity system that must be inspected and maintained.
Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the City of Tallahassee Contract #3708 and finds that it meets the needs of the City and meets the requirements of the City’s procurement ordinance.
Financial Information: Funds are appropriated in the FY2022 budget for Utility Operations / Inflow & Infiltration / Vehicles (#431-3370-564100-00000).
