Strategic Plan Link: The City’s Mission to plan for smart and balanced growth.
Executive Summary (General Business): Request for approval of a Preliminary and Final Plat that is approximately 55.08 acres in area and includes one hundred forty-three (143) existing Single-family lots for a project known as Verano South PUD 1-POD D-Plat No. 5 Replat.
Presentation Information: N/A
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the preliminary and final plat as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the request.
2. Move that the Council deny the request and provide direction.
Background: This application is for a replat to extend the depth of lots 371-375, 377-397, 413-427, 457, and 466-480, by adding an additional five (5) feet to the back of lots. The land is being taken from either water management tracts or common area tracts. No additional lots are being created with this replat nor are any being removed.
Issues/Analysis: The request does not change the number of lots previously approved for this area. Construction plans were approved with the existing subdivision plat for the area.
Financial Information: N/A
Special Consideration: N/A
Location of Project: This property is located within the Verano DRI, south of the C-24 Canal, west of I-95, and north of Crosstown Parkway.
