2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Robert Half International, Inc.
3. Purpose: To provide staffing support to City Departments to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The initial term began on November 30, 2018 through November 30, 2021 with a renewal option of two (2) 1-year terms ending on November 30, 2023.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Utilize the City of West Palm Beach’s contract to provide quality services at all levels.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): As appropriated in each Department’s Budget on an as needed basis.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive the bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and approve participating in the City of West Palm Beach Contract #21570 with Robert Half International to provide Supplemental Staffing as needed.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the City of West Palm Beach Contract #21570.
2. Move that the Council not approval participating in the City of West Palm Beach Contract #21570 and provide staff with direction.
Background: The City of Port St. Lucie uses temporary staff in unity with City employees in order to support numerous City functions throughout the City. The City of Port St Lucie continues to grow and as the City grows so does the City’s demand for quality services at all levels. Temporary staffing agencies can assist the City with filling vacancies as well as assisting City employees with heavy workloads. Temporary staffing agencies can be a useful resource for a municipality to have.
Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the City of West Palm Beach Contract and finds that it meets the needs of the City and meets the requirements of the City’s procurement ordinance.
Financial Information: Funds will be appropriated in each Departments Budget.
