Executive Summary (General Business): This is a request to name Tract RW within the recorded LTC Ranch West POD 9 Phases 2 and 3 Final Plat “Crossfield Drive.”

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the resolution.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council not adopt the resolution and provide staff direction.
Background: This is a request for naming of Tract RW within the recorded LTC Ranch West POD 9 Phases 2 and 3 Final Plat as “Crossfield Drive.” The final plat and construction plans for LTC Ranch West POD 9 Phases 2 and 3 (P24-155), were approved by the City Council on June 9, 2025. Tract RW was unnamed when the final plat was recorded in OR Book 135, pages 1 -30. The roadway has been constructed and formally designating a street name is necessary for emergency personnel to accurately identify and locate the roadway, as well as provide additional access to the residences it serves. This change will not affect any residential lot addresses since there are no existing homes or structures on the affected street segment.
Issues/Analysis: The applicant has provided a letter from St. Lucie County approving the street name “Crossfield Drive” for Tract RW. If City Council approves the proposed street name, St. Lucie County will be notified. The Board of County Commissioners will then approve the naming via resolution. After the resolution is approved, the County will notify all public safety offices, the post office, and update the St. Lucie County mapping systems.
