Background: The City was awarded a grant from FEMA through the Division of Emergency Management (Project #4337-350-R) via Contract # H0431 under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for mitigation planning and other projects which reduce future disaster losses, specifically to allow the City to provide protection to the residential sewer system. The City shall upgrade up to 1,000 electrical panels on the existing low-pressure grinder systems within the City. The proposal is to upgrade the existing panels to allow a portable generator to be quickly and safely connected by the City staff.

Issues/Analysis: The modification allows for an increase in the amount of $25,000.

Financial Information: This is a cost reimbursement agreement, subject to the availability of funds. The State of Florida’s obligation to pay is contingent upon an annual appropriation by the Legislature.
