Executive Summary (General Business): The subject property currently has a Future Land Use (FLU) of ROI (Residential, Office, Institutional) and a zoning classification of RS-2 (Single Family Residential). The applicant is requesting to rezone 2.56 acres of contiguous RS-2 parcels to LMD (Limited Mixed-Use).

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a brief presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the ordinance.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC) reviewed and recommended approval of the conceptual plan for the proposed rezoning on August 26, 2020. The Planning and Zoning Board heard the proposal and recommended approval on October 6, 2020.
