Executive Summary (General Business): The owner, Sun Lucie Pooh, LLC, is requesting a special exception use to allow a 2,824 square-foot convenience store with 12 fuel sale positions totaling 6,396 square feet, as per Section 158.124(C)(11) of the General Commercial (CG) zoning district. The Zoning Code lists a convenience store with fuel service station may be permitted only following the review and specific approval thereof by the City Council.  There is an existing bank with a drive through that will be demolished for the redevelopment.

 

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the resolution as recommended by the Planning & Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the resolution.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve the resolution and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval of the special exception use on August 1st, 2023.
