Executive Summary (General Business): Lennar Homes, LLC has deeded additional road right-of-way for Becker Road to the City of Port St Lucie to accommodate a round-a-bout at the Becker Road Veranda Preserve East entrance.
Presentation Information: Staff will be available to answer any questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the resolution accepting the Special Warranty Deed for additional right-of-way.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the resolution.
2. Move that the Council not approve the resolution and provide staff direction.
Background: Lennar Homes, LLC is the owner of land described and platted as Veranda Preserve East, Tract RW. As part of the development of this subdivision, a round-a-bout is planned to be constructed on Becker Road at the Veranda Preserve East secondary entrance and requires additional right-of-way for proper placement of this round-a-bout. The plat and construction plans have been reviewed by staff.
Issues/Analysis: The Special Warranty Deed needs to be accepted by City Council before the final plat is approved and recorded.
Financial Information: There is no cost to the City for this Special Warranty Deed.

Location of Project: Becker Road, east of Veranda Gardens.
