Background: The City had previously used Pavement Technology, Inc. through a partnership contract with the City of Margate in FY 15/16 and 16/17. Unfortunately, due to limited funding the Public Works Department was unable to continue utilizing their product in subsequent years. Approximately two years ago the Public Works Department began programming the cost of preservation and rejuvenation into the resurfacing budget and had anticipated to begin its use again in FY 23/24. However, due to the continued increases to the resurfacing budget the department is able to begin sooner. Pavement Technology, Inc. works with many municipalities throughout the State of Florida.

Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the St. Lucie County Contract #C20-10-767 and finds that it meets all requirements of the City’s procurement ordinance.
