Executive Summary (General Business): This application is for a Preliminary and Final Plat with Construction Plans that is 193.35 acres in area. The applicant is proposing 436 residential lots and 7 water management tracks, along with roads and utility infrastructure. In addition, sites for 10.71 acres of recreation, 8.3 acres of commercial, 16.43 acres of single-family rental casitas (Pod 3), and 20.58 acres of 3-story multifamily development (Pod 2) are proposed. 

 

Presentation Information: If requested, staff will provide presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Preliminary and Final subdivision plat.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Preliminary and Final Subdivision Plat.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

 

Background:  The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of an application for a Preliminary Plat on December 1, 2020.  The applicant requested to change the application to a Preliminary and Final Plat after the application was reviewed by Planning and Zoning Board.  The Planning and Zoning Department sent the application back to the Site Plan Review Committee on December 9, 2020 for review as a Preliminary and Final Subdivision Plat and the committee recommended approval.  Final plats are not required to be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Board.
