Background: CIP Project Award for Construction Services for the Improvements to the City Hall Lobby, Restrooms, Storefronts, and Added Parking. The project will include enhancements and upgrades to City Hall, including enhanced accessibility and security features in the lobby, upgrading the conditions and drainage of existing exterior parking, and adding new parking areas.
An E-Bid was issued on July 15, 2024, to 2,639 suppliers, there were 45 plan holders with 5 submittals received on September 6, 2024, 3 suppliers were deemed responsive.
Issues/Analysis: Hooks Construction Company, LLC, a Local Preference Contractor, agreed to perform the work matching the amount of the lowest bidder for $2,427,221.28.
Financial Information: Funds are appropriated in the GENERAL CIP FUND/FACILITIES/BUILDINGS (#301-4135-562000-00000).
