Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive bidding per Chapter 35.08(a)(9)(b) to piggyback the City of Fort Lauderdale Bid #12696-535 for Document and Media Scanning Services with Advanced Data Solutions, Inc.

Background: The City desires to piggyback the City of Fort Lauderdale Bid #12696-535 for Document and Media Scanning Services. The services provided under this Contract comply with the requirement for Florida municipalities to maintain electronic public records that are scanned to be in accordance with Rule 1 B-26.003, Florida Administrative Code.,
Issues/Analysis: Staff has analyzed the agreement and finds it meets the City’s needs.
Financial Information: Various City departments will use this contract for document and media scanning services.
Special Consideration: The City of Fort Lauderdale competitively procured these services. The City finds the Contract to be compliant with City code and applicable policy.
