Executive Summary (General Business): The vacant +/- 9-acre parcel currently has a future land use designation of CG (General Commercial). Through this application, the applicant is requesting a future land use designation of RM (Medium Density Residential) for the purpose of providing for a future 72-home townhouse development. 

 

Presentation Information: Staffwill provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the request as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the request.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The project was recommended for approval by the Planning and Zoning Board on June 7th, 2022. On August 8, 2022, the City Council tabled the second reading of the Ordinance to November 14, 2022.
