Executive Summary (General Business): This is a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment to change the future land use designation for 4.37-acres from General Commercial (CG) to Residential, Office, Institutional (ROI). This is a lower intensity future land use. The applicant has indicated that the owner plans to build townhouses on the property.
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance for the small-scale comprehensive plan map amendment as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the small-scale comprehensive plan amendment.
2. Move that the Council not approve the small-scale comprehensive plan amendment and provide staff direction.
Background: The Planning and Zoning Board voted to recommend approval of the amendment on August 3, 2021.
