Background: Parks & Recreation is interested in furnishing and installing a Pre-Engineered Building at Sportsman’s Park West to replace the existing pole barn and storage building that has water damage in the roofing system and termite damaged truss and walls. A new building will allow for proper storage of existing equipment that is stored outside which would prevent it from becoming weathered. It will also provide dry storage and material storage for ball field clay and sand along with providing a new space for the security camera server room for both Sportsman’s Park and Sportsman’s Park West. This contract will allow all departments with the opportunity to add or replace buildings, if needed, that are Pre-Engineered.

Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the Sourcewell Contract and finds that it meets the needs of the City and meets the requirements of the City’s procurement ordinance.

Financial Information: Funds shall be appropriated in the user department’s budget each fiscal year.
