1. Prepared by: Storage Cap Port St. Lucie, L.P.
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie , LTC Ranch Joint Venture, and Storage Cap Port St. Lucie, L.P.
3. Purpose: To facilitate construction of a sanitary sewer main to service property owned by Storage Cap Port St. Lucie, L.P. (the “Grantee”).
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: 18 months from issuance of construction permits being issued for the Grantee’s property, or 36 months from the Agreement being entered into, whichever occurs first, unless extended by the parties.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: This temporary easement will help to facilitate the construction of infrastructure.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): N/A.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the ordinance to convey a temporary construction easement to facilitate the construction of a sanitary sewer main.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the ordinance to convey a temporary construction easement to facilitate the construction of a sanitary sewer main.
2. Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff with direction.
Background: The Grantee owns property which it intends to develop as a storage facility. The storage facility will need sanitary sewer service. To construct a sanitary sewer main that can reach the City’s existing system, the Grantee requires an easement over property owned by the City of Port St. Lucie and LTC Ranch Joint Venture.
