Executive Summary (General Business): Ms. Fabien, currently a Law Clerk with the City Attorney’s Office, has received a passing score on the rigorous, two-day, Florida Bar Exam which was administered in July; and having met the other requirements, including the appropriate education and passing the thorough moral character investigation conducted by the Bar, Ms. Fabien has qualified to be sworn into The Florida Bar as a licensed attorney.

 

Presentation Information: (Initial Question): The Honorable Michelle R. Miller, Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller of St. Lucie County, shall administer the Oath of The Florida Bar.

 

Background: Ms. Fabien joined the City Attorney’s Office as an Intern during the Summer of 2022, partially funded by a Grant obtained by the City, County & Local Government Section of The Florida Bar.  Ms. Fabien and the Athanasatos family are long-time residents of Port St. Lucie.  Upon conclusion of her Internship, Ms. Fabien was offered a position as a part-time Law Clerk while she finished her studies at St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami.  Ms. Fabien graduated with her Juris Doctorate degree and successfully passed the Florida Bar Exam.  A position as an entry-level Deputy City Attorney awaits Ms. Fabien upon admission to the Bar.
