Executive Summary (General Business): The City of Port St. Lucie Youth Council was established in 2023 and has been serving as a fact-finding board since December 2023. Members of the Youth Council are City residents who are actively enrolled in a public or private high school in grades nine (9) through twelve (12). The members shall be appointed by the Mayor and City Council and each member appointed shall service an initial term to expire May 2024. This item serves to do the following subject to the City Council’s advice and consent: Appoint Daniela Rosario as a regular member to the City of Port St. Lucie Youth Council. Daniel is in the tenth (10th) grade at Lincoln Park Academy. Ms. Rosario has been attending the Youth Council meetings regularly as a member of the public.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the recommendation for appointment and appoint the above applicant to the City of Port St. Lucie Youth Council.
