2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and FDOT
3. Purpose: Approval of Resolution 23-R_ authorizing the City Manager to enter into and execute an FDOT Supplemental Agreement for additional federal funds in the amount of $100,268.00, which will be added to the existing Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement amount of $344,650.00 for total FDOT participation amount of $444,918.00.

5. Duration: FDOT Contract Project End Date 12/31/2024 (unless otherwise extended in writing). Federal funds to be reimbursed quarterly, or more frequently, pending City submittal for reimbursement throughout the duration of the project.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Increases federal funding through FDOT participation in the construction phase of the project. Reduces the City’s funding contribution.

Background: The Selvitz Road Sidewalk Project is included in the Sidewalk Master Plan and was previously approved by FDOT for LAP Grant funding for the construction phase of the project. Following the execution of the LAP Agreement FM#446074-1, FDOT prepared a Supplemental Agreement Contract No. G2E39 to increase the agency’s participation in federal funding on the project.

Financial Information: An increase of $100,268.00 in supplemental federal funding, in addition to the previously awarded $344,650.00, will bring the total FDOT participated funding amount to $444,918.00. This funding is available in FY 2023/24 and will off-set the construction phase cost which is estimated to be $484,343.13.
