Treasure Coast Treasures - Public Art Tour Brochure

body

Submitted By: Bethany Grubbs, AICP, Senior Planner/Public Art Program

Strategic Plan Link: The City's Goal to enjoy culture, nature and fun activities.

Executive Summary (General Business): Staff will present the draft “Treasure Coast Treasures” Public Art Tour brochure for review and refinement. The brochure is intended to highlight public art throughout Port St. Lucie and the broader Treasure Coast, supporting cultural engagement and public awareness. Staff seeks feedback from the Public Art Advisory Board (PAAB) to guide further development of the brochure’s content and layout.

Presentation Information: Staff will present the current brochure draft.

Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Board review the draft brochure and provide feedback on the layout, content, branding, and featured artworks. Staff will incorporate the Board’s input and return an updated draft for final review.

Background: The PAAB requested a public art brochure, referred to by the Board as the “Treasure Map”, to help residents and visitors explore public art locations across the city.

The brochure will ultimately serve as:
• A guide to where public art is located
• A tool to support cultural tourism and resident engagement
• A visual overview of the City’s public art investments
• A resource consistent with the Public Art Master Plan

Issues/Analysis: The brochure is in draft form and still needs updates. PAAB feedback is needed to ensure it reflects the Board’s direction and aligns with City branding.
