Executive Summary (General Business): A rezoning requested by the Diocese of Palm Beach, to change the zoning designation for 12.76 acres of property from Multiple-family Residential (RM-11) to Institutional (I). The project site is the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, which includes and existing church and a proposed new parish hall. The residential component of the church site, called Villa Seton, is not included in the rezoning request.
Presentation Information: Staff may provide a brief presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the rezoning as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the rezoning.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.
Background: On May 3, 2022, the Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the rezoning. Please see the staff report for additional background.
