Executive Summary (General Business): Termination of an easement over Lot 8 in favor of Parcel B contained on the Nau Ranch Plat as recorded in Plat Book 40, Page 6 of the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida (“Nau Ranch Plat”).

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve termination of the dedication and easement on the Nau Ranch Plat.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and complete the motion in the affirmative.
2. Move that the Council not approve termination of the dedication and easement on the Nau Ranch Plat.
Background: The Owner of Parcel B and Lot 8 is currently processing a replat of Parcels A and B of the Nau Ranch Plat. The existing easement over Lot 8 in favor of Parcel B is inconsistent with the proposed replat. Consequently, the Owner desires to formally terminate the dedication and easement on the plat. The Owner is required to provide a separate instrument termination because Lot 8 is not included on the proposed replat, and thus cannot be removed through the replat process.
