Approve Sponsorship Request from the Sunlight Community Church Fall Festival

Executive Summary (General Business): Nicole Vasco with the Sunlight Community Church is preparing for the Annual Fall Festival which is being held on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve all sponsorship items.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the sponsorship items
2. Move that the Council not approve the request and provide staff direction.
Background: The Sunlight Community Church is requesting the Fall Festival Event to be placed on the City’s Event Calendar which requires City Sponsorship. This is in line with other sponsorship requests approved by the City Council:
1. Partnership with our Communications Dept. for promotional support of the event
Issues/Analysis: The Communication Dept. has been advised of this request for assistance and will respond accordingly upon approval from City Council.
Financial Information: N/A
Special Consideration: The festivities start at 4:00 PM with a Trunk or Treat, followed by family fun activities like a face-painting booth, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and carnival rides for all ages! There will also be live music performances throughout the day. All activities are free to the public.
