Background: On July 30, 2025, the City acquired the building located at 300 NW Peacock Blvd., with the intent of consolidating the land development functions from five departments into a single, centralized location. During due diligence, it was determined that the facility was not functional in its current condition and would require full renovation to meet operational needs. This project reflects the City’s commitment to recommissioning and fully outfitting the building to provide a modern, efficient, and collaborative workspace for the land development team.

Task Order #20260336 initiates Phase 2 of the renovation project for the building located at 300 NW Peacock Blvd.  Phase 2 is focused on the addition of department suites and offices, as well as establishing a dedicated Customer Service office for public services to enhance accessibility and efficiency. Advancing this phase supports the City’s broader plan to fully recommend the facility for operational use.
