Executive Summary (General Business): The request is for the rezoning of the 36.04-acre property from SLC Agricultural 5 (SLC AG-5) to General Use (GU). The applicant is requesting this change so that the zoning designation will be compatible with the Future Land Use classification of New Community Development District (NCD).

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the ordinance approving the GU rezoning as recommend by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendation:

1.                     Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the proposed GU rezoning at the August 1, 2023 Planning and Zoning Board.
