7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Estimated annual expenditure is $187,168.18. All future expenditures will be identified in each budget year.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council award Contract #20210038R2 for the Application of Chemicals, Fertilizer & IPM Services on Roadways & Medians throughout Port St. Lucie with Brightview Landscape Services Inc.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and award Contract #20210038R2.
2. Move that the Council not award Contract #20210038R2 and provide staff with direction.
Background: As the city has grown over the previous two decades, a significant effort has been put forth to beautify our entries and roadway networks citywide. To continue this endeavor, a program was implemented to provide fertilizer and pest control as a preventative measure to Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful.
Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the proposals and finds that Brightview Landscape Services Inc. provides the best value to the city. Brightview Landscape Services Inc. is currently providing mowing and landscape maintenance services in the western section of Port Saint Lucie.
Financial Information: Funds are available in the Public Works/Road and Bridge (#104-4127-534 117-00000).
