2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie Information Technology Department and Info-Tech Research Group, Inc.
3. Purpose: To provide the IT Department Leadership with resources to facilitate annual IT service and IT Cybersecurity diagnostics combined with IT plan, policy, and procedure reviews. In addition, 3rd party IT service contract and service level agreement (SLA) reviews.

5. Duration: The initial contract was for 05/01/2018 through 03/13/2022. The State has exercised the first renewal option through 3/13/2023. The contract has 2 additional 1-year renewals remaining.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Info-Tech’s IT Research and Advisory membership provides the City’s IT Department with access to powerful diagnostics tools and key research to help the City systematically improve IT department’s performance.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The cost for 3 years through 10-9/2025 to Port St Lucie is $67, 002.47

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council waive bidding, per Chapter 35.04(c), good cause shown, and approve participating in the State of Florida ACS #81141902-VITA-18-ACS for IT Research and Advisory Services with Info-Tech Research Group, Inc. via State of Virginia Contract #VA-180315-ITRG.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve participating in the State of Florida ACS #81141902-VITA-18-ACS.
2. Move that the Council not approve participating in the approve participating in the State of Florida ACS #81141902-VITA-18-ACS and provide staff with direction.
Background: The IT Department has utilized Info-Tech advisory services at the Leadership membership level since 2016 to facilitate annual IT service and IT Cybersecurity diagnostics combined with IT Plan, Policy, and Procedure reviews. In addition, 3rd party IT service contract and service level agreement (SLA) reviews have also been conducted.
Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the State of Florida ACS# 81141902-VITA-18-ACS and finds that it meets the needs of the City. In addition, the contract meets the requirements of the City’s procurement ordinance.
Financial Information: Funds are appropriated in the FY 2021/2022 budget for Information technology. (#001-1320-552201-0000).
