Executive Summary (General Business): The application is for a Preliminary and Final Plat. The proposed development is to create four (4) commercial parcels. The project is located within the Verano South POD G Planned Unit Development.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the preliminary and final plat as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the project.
2. Move that the Council deny the request and provide direction.
Background: The Site Plan Review Committee unanimously recommended approval of this Preliminary and Final subdivision plat on April 23, 2025.
Issues/Analysis: The project has been reviewed for compliance with Chapter 160, City Code, and the Verano Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Development Order, regarding provision of adequate public facilities. The project has been found to be compliant. The City Attorney’s Office has the executed Termination of Easement document referred to in the City Surveyor’s letter. They will record it prior to the plat mylar being recorded.
