Executive Summary (General Business): The proposed MPUD will allow for a maximum density of 261 dwellings units and 130,000 square feet of non-residential uses.
Presentation Information: Staff may provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the Ordinance.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the Ordinance.
2. Move that the Council not adopt the Ordinance and provide direction.
Background: The Planning and Zoning Board will hear this item at their July 5, 2022 meeting and provide a recommendation.
The Riverland/Kennedy DRI amendment was approved on March 8, 2021 by Resolution 21-R07. Map H of the DRI clearly denotes the location of the proposed MPUD with a Neighborhood Commercial area of 4 acres and Mixed Use area of 31 acres.
Issues/Analysis: The MPUD proposes to exempt any the architectural wall buffering requirement between this MPUD and the neighboring residential Parcel B MPUD. The MPUD also proposes to exempt the architectural wall requirement between the residential and non-residential areas of the mixed use area of this MPUD. Landscaping will be provided as a buffer in both areas.
