Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the ordinance as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the ordinance.
2. Move that the Council not adopt the ordinance and provide staff direction.
Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval at their meeting on November 17, 2020. The rezoning was requested by the City Council after discussion of the Groza rezoning application (P20-154).
Issues/Analysis: The proposed rezoning is related to project P20-209- Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment which requests a future land use classification change from ROI (Residential, Office, and Institutional) to RL (Low Density Residential).

Location of Project: North side of SW Abode Avenue and east of SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard. The properties addresses are 771 SW Abode Avenue and 785 SW Abode Avenue.
