1. Prepared by: Kelly A. Tiger, Recreation Manager.
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Department and the German American Club.
3. Purpose: Provide a fun, safe cultural experience honoring the German culture. We will be providing traditional German food, parade of flags, tapping of the keg, youth performances, traditional musical performance, and our 2nd Annual Wiener Dog Race!
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Friday, Oct. 1, 5-10 p.m. & Saturday, Oct. 2, 2-10 p.m.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Offering a great cultural experience for our residents.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): N/A
Presentation Information: Parks & Recreation staff will be in attendance to answer any questions by City Council.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the 2021 Oktoberfest Event License Agreement with the German American Club.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the 2021 Oktoberfest Event License Agreement.
2. Move that the Council provide staff direction.
Background: Oktoberfest is an annual event that the City of Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Department has produced with cooperation from the German American Club for 20+ years.
