Executive Summary (General Business): The request is for the rezoning of the 1.35-acre property from Industrial (IN) to Service Commercial (CS). The applicant is requesting this change so that the zoning designation will be compatible with the Future Land Use classification of Service Commercial (CS).

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council adopt the ordinance approving the CS rezoning as recommend by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve with the ordinance with conditions.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve the ordinance and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the proposed CS rezoning at the January 3, 2023 Planning and Zoning Board.
