Executive Summary (General Business): A Special Exception Use (SEU) request to allow retail or personal service uses, exceeding fifty percent (50%) of the building's gross floor area, within an LMD zoning district per Sec. 158.155(D)(5).

 

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a brief presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the special exception use request as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the special exception use request.

2.                     Move that the Council not approve the special exception use request and provide staff direction.

 

Background: The Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC) recommended approval of the conceptual SEU plan on August 26, 2020. The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the SEU on October 6, 2020.
