Executive Summary (General Business): This is a request for a Special Exception Use (SEU) to allow a drive-through, associated with a restaurant, in the General Commercial (CG) zoning district per Section 158.124(C)(13) of the Code of Ordinances. The proposed Starbucks coffee shop will be approximately 2,160 square feet with a drive through lane and pass-by lane.
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the resolution, with the condition to allow minor adjustments to the conceptual site plan based upon the full traffic study, as recommended by the Planning & Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the resolution.
2. Move that the Council deny the resolution and provide staff with direction.
Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the special exception use on April 2, 2024.
