Executive Summary (General Business): The applicant, Soma Investors, LLC., is requesting approval for the rezoning of a 0.99-acre parcel from Institutional (I) to Professional (P) to allow for the development of a medical office building. The subject property is located at the northeast corner of SW Port St. Lucie Blvd and SW Squirrel Ave, between SW Darwin and SW Paar Dr. The parcel has an assigned address of 3625 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.
Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the rezoning as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council deny the rezoning request and provide staff with direction.
Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval at their August 1, 2023 meeting.
