3. Purpose: This Amendment serves to renew the license and maintenance agreement for the Utility Systems Department's (USD) asset management system.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: One (1) additional year.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The CityWorks software assists the USD with tracking and managing assets, including anticipated end of life expectancy as well as work order management for various USD Divisions. It also ensures compliance with the department's accreditation standard and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards 55000, 55001 & 55002.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The renewal amount is $85,849.47. Future renewal expenditures will be appropriated in the approved budget each fiscal year.

Background: The City entered into Contract #20190129 with Azteca Systems, LLC in 2019 for CityWorks. The vendor has proven to provide timely and responsive service for the City and this renewal is necessary to maintain the USD's asset management and work order system. The goal for having an asset management program is to be more proactive in maintaining USD assets and facilities.
Renewal guarantees continuous access to critical functions that facilitate the planning, tracking, and management of infrastructure and resources. Active maintenance provides access to technical support, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing overall system performance. The software supports USD's long-term goals for asset management and service delivery. Renewing the license ensures that the department remains aligned with its operational and performance objectives.
Issues/Analysis: Staff has reviewed the proposal for the renewal and finds it to be reasonable and acceptable. The City could not locate an Amendment #1. It is unknown if it exists. However, there is an Amendment #2, so this Amendment is numbered as the third, for sequential purposes.
Financial Information: Funds are appropriated in the Utility Operating Fund / Mapping / Computer Software (#431-1360-552201-00000).
