Executive Summary (General Business): This Resolution and accompanying FDOT State Highway Traffic Signal, Maintenance, and Compensation Agreement will allow the City to be compensated for the maintenance and general upkeep of state-owned highway traffic signal facilities and equipment as specified in Exhibit A of the Agreement. The facilities covered under the agreement are located along US Highway 1, S.E. Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Becker Road and Florida Turnpike, and I-95 at Becker Road, Crosstown Parkway, Gatlin Boulevard and St. Lucie West Boulevard.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the Resolution allowing the execution of the Agreement.

1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the Resolution.
2. Move that the Council not approve the Resolution and provide staff direction.
Background: The Florida Department of Transportation and the City of Port St. Lucie originally entered into an agreement for State Highway Traffic Signal Maintenance and Compensation in 2003. This agreement shall compensate the City for maintaining the traffic signals along US 1, S.E. Port St. Lucie Boulevard, Becker Road and Florida Turnpike, and I-95 at Becker Road, Crosstown Parkway, Gatlin Boulevard and St. Lucie West Boulevard on an annual basis. The enclosed agreement...
