Executive Summary (General Business): The proposed ordinance is an update to the Engineering Standards for Land Development - Commercial, Residential Subdivisions, and Capital Improvement Projects ("Engineering Standards") which was adopted in December of 2020. Since the adoption of the Engineering Standards, staff and stakeholders have come across areas within the document that should be clarified or defined in more detail. Several processes have evolved since the first edition, and these updates have been incorporated. The ordinance will also allow for future amendments to the Engineering Standards to be approved and adopted by the Public Works Director.
Presentation Information: Staff is available to provide a summary of the revisions and answer questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council complete the motion in the affirmative.

Background: The Engineering Standards were adopted in December 2020. Since that time city staff and stakeholders have come across various sections that needed updating to provide further clarification, updates to policies and procedures, and adding items that are already in practice but needed to be supported in writing.
