Summary Brief (Agreements/Contracts only)
1. Prepared by: Nathaniel Rubel, PMD
2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Florida Design Drilling, LLC.
3. Purpose: Establish Guaranteed Maximum Price ("GMP")-B for final engineering design and permitting services, site development for select well sites, below grade construction of sequenced Upper Floridan Aquifer ("UFA") production wells, and continued public outreach and grant management assistance.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Modified.
5. Duration: Substantial Completion of GMP-B shall be achieved no later than 486 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed for GMP-B.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Installing new Floridan Wells will aid in supplying raw water to the planned Discovery Water Treatment Facility. This will help the facility to meet future water supply demands and provide operational flexibility at the James E. Anderson ("JEA") Water Treatment Facility.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $16,202,001.37 for a new Contract total amount of $26,776,068.80.
