Executive Summary (General Business): The Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council shall provide for a brief presentation outlining their conclusions and findings relating to the Port St. Lucie Boulevard South Corridor Planning Study.
Presentation Information: Kim Delaney, PhD, Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, shall provide for a presentation up to 45 minutes.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the study findings and recommendations.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the findings and any proposed amendments to the recommendations.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.
Background: On September 20th, 2021, City Council unanimously recommended approval of an interlocal agreement between the City and TCRPC to perform the PSL Blvd South Planning Study. Since this approval, the consultant has been involved in multiple interdepartmental meeting for vetting of the study, hosted two (2) public workshops, and provided for an abbreviated presentation to Council at the 2022 summer retreat.
