Executive Summary (General Business): The purpose of this resolution is to set the Public Hearing allowing the affected property owners the opportunity to provide comment and/or objections to the 2025 Solid Waste Assessment Roll. Additionally, the City Council will consider approving the annual rate of $467.33 for the solid waste assessment and adopt the 2025 Solid Waste Assessment Roll.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approves the resolution.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and adopt the resolution
2. Move that the Council no approve the resolution and provide staff with direction.
Background: On July 28th, 2025, the City Council passed Resolution 25-R40 authorizing a public hearing and directing the preparation of an assessment roll for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 2025, for solid waste.
Issues/Analysis: The Notice of Public Hearing has been published and notices mailed to the affected property owners as required by law. The updated assessment roll has been made available for inspection by the public, as required by the Ordinance.
