3. Purpose: To add staff to Employee Clinic to maintain services due to extension of hours.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: Renewal.
5. Duration: One (1) year, with remaining options to renew for two (2) additional two (2)-year periods.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Extended access for employees to visit providers seven days per week and consistent weekday hours.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): Front Desk/Medical Assistant = $50,000 + Part-Time Nurse Practitioner = $60,000. Total Additional Annual Estimated Cost: $110,000. Projected annual expenditures are approximately $1.7 million. Future expenditures will be appropriated in each year's budget.

Background: The current contract between the City of Port St. Lucie and the on-site Clinic medical provider, TCMA Care, LLC, is in effect for the period of October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2024. This renewal will extend the contract for one (1) additional year until September 30, 2025. The Clinic has been at maximum capacity since 2021, and staffing levels have stayed the same since its inception in 2007.
