3. Purpose: It is the intent of the City to procure the services of a qualified and licensed Design Professional to provide a conceptual design of a Port District Master Plan.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: The Contract Period is 195 calendar days with no option to renew.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The Port Master Plan would incorporate and weave together Riverwalk North and South to plan for a dynamic Riverwalk district that improves cultural and physical connectivity to offer something for everyone.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): The total amount to be paid by the City to the Consultant is on a "time and expense" basis for a total amount of $200,000.

Background: The Port Master Plan advances the City's Strategic Goal of Culture, Nature and Fun Activities. The desire for a Riverwalk District has long been prioritized by City Council and is among the key recommendations in the proposed Parks & Recreation 10-Year Master Plan. The plan will activate the local area and be a premier destination location for the surrounding communities.
