Executive Summary (General Business): The CDBG program provides federal funds for projects and programs that help improve the physical, economic, and social conditions of our community. Eligible projects must benefit low- and moderate-income persons or address urgent needs or slum and blight. The attached Draft Annual Action Plan contains projects reviewed and approved by the City's internal CDBG Project Selection Team. A draft Project List was presented for discussion on June 9 and June 16, 2025 (Item #2025-414).

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board approve the 2025-26 CDBG Draft Annual Action Plan for submission to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by August 15, 2025, open the 30 day public comment period (for the period June 23 - July 24, 2025), and authorize the Director of Neighborhood Services to make revisions prior to submission to HUD to incorporate comments received.
