6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: The Port District is one of the City's main Strategic Priorities: Goal 6 - Culture, Nature and Fun Activities. Specifically, the renovation of The Port District - Historic Peacock Lodge is highlighted as a Priority Project for FY 2022/2023.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): An additional $96,692.15 to be added to the contract for a new Contract Amount of $955,828.12.

Background: Since construction began, several field conditions needed to be addressed. Structural issues and ADA compliance issues required correction in the field. Amendment #2 accounts for these changes:
1. Selective demolition revealed structural deficiencies in the new screened porch that required remediation prior to proceeding with the restoration. Total cost is $26,418.60.
