Executive Summary: This is a City initiated Text Amendment amending Section 158.110 of the City of Port St. Lucie Code of Ordinances. This amendment would increase the maximum building height for publicly owned or operated buildings or uses in the Institutional zoning district from 35 feet to 65 feet. 

 

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board recommend approval of the proposed text amendment.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Board amend the recommendation and recommend approval of the proposed text amendment. 

2.                     Move that the Board not recommend approval and provide staff direction.

Special Consideration: This text amendment would only be applicable to the specified uses within the Institutional zoning district. All other uses would remain at 35 feet, unless otherwise indicated in the designated Conversion Area.
