2. Parties: City of Port St. Lucie and Port St. Lucie Downtown Lions Foundation, Inc.
3. Purpose: To manage alcoholic beverage sales for the 2021 Festival of Lights.
4. New/Renewal/Modified: New.
5. Duration: Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2 - 10 pm.
6. Benefits to Port St. Lucie: Provide a safe, fun holiday celebration for our community members.
7. Cost to Port St. Lucie (Annual and Potential): N/A.
Presentation Information: Parks & Recreation staff will be in attendance to answer any event questions.
Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the 2021 Festival of Lights Event License Agreement.
Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the 2021 Festival of Lights Event License Agreement.
2. Move that the Council provide staff with other direction.
Background: This is an annual holiday event that has been a tradition for 20+ years and this year's theme is "Disco in December". Event activities include a parade, a midway carnival, fireworks and the annual tree-lighting event.
