Executive Summary (General Business): The applicant is requesting a special exception use to allow for the repair and maintenance of vehicles within a 9,183 square foot commercial building, as per Section 158.124(C)(10) of the General Commercial (CG) zoning district. The Zoning Code lists any repair and maintenance of vehicle use as a special exception use that may be permitted only following the review and specific approval thereof by the City Council. The proposed special exception use will allow the operation of an automobile repair shop.

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approve the resolution as recommended by the Planning & Zoning Board.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the resolution with conditions.
2. Move that the Council deny and provide staff with direction.

Background: The Planning and Zoning Board recommended approval of the special exception use on March 7th, 2023.
