Executive Summary: This is the Fourth amendment to the Verano South Pod D PUD document.  This is a request to amend the Planned Unit Development (PUD) document and concept plan for Verano South POD D to increase the acreage. The increase of acreage includes an increase of permitted number of dwelling units from 702 to 1,040 units.

 

Presentation Information: Staff will provide a presentation.

 

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Board make a recommendation to approve the PUD amendment as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.

 

Alternate Recommendations:

1.                     Move that the Board amend the recommendation and recommend the approval of the PUD amendment.

2.                     Move that the Board not recommend the approval.

 

Background: The Verano DRI is permitted to provide 7,200 number of dwelling units maximum. This PUD currently permits 702 units. The applicant is proposing an increase of the maximum number of units to 1,040 units. The proposed amount does not exceed the maximum number of units permitted within the DRI as a whole.
