Executive Summary (General Business): The Port St. Lucie Governmental Finance Corporation (GFC) has applied for preliminary and final subdivision plat approval for a project known as Southern Grove Plat No. 43. Southern Grove Plat No. 43 is a replat of Southern Grove Plat No. 38, for a total of 378.65 acres. It includes five tracts for future development, stormwater tracts, and two right-of-way tracts.

Presentation Information: Staff may provide a short presentation.

Staff Recommendation: Move that the Council approval of the preliminary and final subdivision plat as recommended by the Site Plan Review Committee.

Alternate Recommendations:
1. Move that the Council amend the recommendation and approve the subdivision plat.
2. Move that the Council not approve and provide staff direction.

Background: Site Plan Review Committee recommended approval at the August 10th SPRC meeting.

Issues/Analysis: The subdivision plat application does not include construction plans for the two right-of-way tracts: the extension of SW Anthony S. Sansone SR Boulevard and St. Louis Boulevard. These roads will be designed and constructed under a separate application. The City was awarded a Florida Job Growth Infrastructure Grant in the amount of $3.5 million. The funding is to be used for design and construction of SW Anthony S. Sansone SR Boulevard and St. Louis Boulevard.
